Jean Francois has worked at Natixis since 2001. Jean-François Robin is Chief Economist of Natixis-Group BPCE and Global Head of Research.

Prior to that, he was in charge of Strategy and before was a trader in sovereign debt, in charge of the market making of Credit Default swaps and then Credit Product trading.

Before Natixis, Jean-Francois was Deputy Director at the Bank of France in charge of portfolio management and monetary operations.

A graduate of Sciences Po, JF has a Master II in Applied Economics and one in Market Finance. He is regular consultant in French newspapers and televisions, a frequent contributor to Bloomberg, CNBC and The Wall Street Journal. He is among the experts consulted by the ECB within the Market Contact Group and by the European Commission and Parliament. He is teaching at Sorbonne University in charge of Master 2 Bank and Finance.

His main focus is the coverage of Tier 1 Natixis Clients. He is a frequent advisor to influential Central Banks, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Insurance companies, large asset managers and Corporates.
