AGBO-BLOUA Kokou

Kokou joined SG CIB in 2014 as Global Head of Engineering for Global Equity Flow (GEF). In June 2020 he was appointed Global Head of Economics, Cross-Asset & Quant Research. He started his career on the trading side for a decade as a portfolio manager at Goldman Sachs Principal Strategies (GSPS) and then a derivatives trader at JP Morgan. Born in Togo and educated in China, where he spent 12 years of his life, Kokou Agbo-Bloua graduated with an MSc in Management from HEC School of Management in Paris in 2002 and completed his post-graduate studies in Finance at the Anderson School of Management at UCLA. Kokou is a frequent contributor to the financial news media with regular appearances on Bloomberg TV and CNBC. He produces an award winning branded podcast on sustainability called “2050 Investors” where he investigates long-term themes alongside industry experts on the economy, the planet, and markets. It has over 25 episodes ranking from climate change, AI, smart cities, greeenflation, globalization and biodiversity.
